Scarred and Standing

Description

While hiking in Switzerland, I descended into the clouds late in the afternoon and came across this massive, broken tree emerging from the fog. The atmosphere was heavy and almost suspended, the light flattened and uncertain. I took this image purely for its mood, with a sense of unease in that moment.

All photographs are printed on Photographique Matte Paper – 180g, a high-quality professional photo paper with a smooth, non-reflective finish that preserves detail, tonal depth, and color accuracy.

Prints are produced in collaboration with RQR (RQR Taller de Reprografía), a small independent printing studio based in Valencia, Spain.
